The research areas of current interest to Dr. Swait are (1) heuristic decision-making, (2) impact of context complexity on choices, (3) new choice model forms, (4) the role of variance and covariance in choice models, (5) separation of true taste heterogeneity from scale in choice data, (6) group decision-making and group influences on individual choice, (7) brand equity, and (8) dynamic choice theory.
