Choice Modeling

Since completing his PhD in 1984 at the Transportation Systems Division, Dept. of Civil Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Swait has continued to pursue research in choice modeling within the Random Utility framework. His interests have broadened from transportation (and Revealed Preference choice data) to include marketing and environmental damage assessment (with a marked emphasis on the use of Stated Preference, or hypothetical, choice data).
